Best = best. If anyone starts their thread with 'well this isnt my best, but...' then its not your best so dont post it!
Gary,
I'll edit my post and remove my comment 'not my best...' but I stand my it - it's all subjective and I don't think any of my work this year comes up to the same standard as many of the photographers on here so rather than being the 'best' (subjective) shot it's my favourite from the year.

Dont do yourself down ,Dave,it's blinding shot ,and I have a couple from same corner of our man I love too.
I beg to differ, many people would have been here, yet many people just wouldn`t have seen this as the author of this photo did.Fantastic shot Matt, one of those right time right place moments
'Cos its a change from the norm at Oulton and I just rather like it
Had the car been sharp this would have been pretty special.
Superb, everything about this image is spot on, you have even left space for editorial, top marks.really hard to select my best as im a hard judge ha this one is a personal favourite and the driver bought it off me saying that he loved it alot so happy with it
Outstanding capture, you should be proud of this one.my offering from a club race at Cadwell Park in July....
That`s a very fine effort if you don`t mind me saying so.this is the best shot of my 1st year of photography!
Charlie
10/10I'll go with this :Ben Wilson at Cadwell.
Sorry I have to disagree, luck is not really a factor.WOW!! Thats one of those shots that take a lot of luck AND a lot of skill. So much motion - excellent!
great photography skills, very different yet very striking. Some truly stunning shots in this thread,
This is my pick for the season, there are about 30 shots from this year that i love, however this is the one that was a bit different from my norm.
