So we're going to be inundated over the next week or so with everybody's Rally GB shots, mine included, so I put this here for you now to share you favourite shot or few from the event. I'm still processing mine, and there is of course still a day to go, but just to get everyone in the mood I'll open up the thread now!

I'm still editing mine, here is one from early morning in Dyfi yesterday, I love the attitude of the car on entry to the corner. Shame I didn't put a wider lens on, looking at in:

The corner you can see in the background (where that orange board is) is the junction where Robert Kubica and another car had massive accidents.

the new breed of wrc's are really rubbish compared to the older ones

Couldn't disagree more. The new WRCs move around alot more than the previous incarnations, and anyone who says they'd prefer to watch a 30yr old Escort over modern WRCs being thrown around by the best drivers in the world, needs their head examined. [In my opinion of course!]

Here's one of my favourites, but I'll be posting my full set up sometime in the week.

Super shot Rhod. I find your work very inspirational.

Simon.

PS WRC cars driven at the level these guys drive them are unsurpassed!

Pic now showing, lovely shot Rhod

mmm, Think Group B drivers surpassed them 30 years ago :D

Never seen a Group B car live flat out through a forest at WRC level, so I'll have to bow to your superior knowledge Graeme ;)

Cheers,

Simon.

Me too about escorts vs modern WRC. Escort (especially with Roger Clark, Ari Vatenen or Hannu Mikkola screams sideways to me :)

Given the lack of variety and numbers in the WRC cars I had to make variety in the shot, so I combined 3 photos to come up with a bigger field of view:

Car seems slightly soft and as with the other Neuville shot above the light was low and I can't get a colour balance I'm happy with, but still I think its ok.

Different Fiesta, this time Ostberg:

some great photos in here, really liking the PP on Digitalize's photos, the angle set off the photos really well

Something to re-look at on mine:bonk:

Agree - anyone who doesn't like modern days haven't witnessed them at close proximity, unbeliavable comitment and speed, mind blowing. Looking forward to rest fella

@Roule Duke - what shutter speed did you use in the first shot? fantastic!

Too hard to choose really, I loved every day of Rally GB.
