This is my first post (joined TP this morning) so let me know what you think. Definitely the favourite shot of the year, taken half way up the hill near the members' tent.

Some really superb images in here. And i like the thread idea.

This is my favourite image of the year.Previous years i had captured Plato from a similar angle but failed to capture a flash and in 2011 i missed the shot completely. So catching this angle, particularly with a flash (given the drivers nickname) was something i really wanted to achieve. Sounds silly, but my entire day was dictated by ensuring i was in the right place to capture the shot.

that is an AWESOME shot! Everything about it just works, crowd in the background let you know right away that this is a race, not just a sunday maniac. I love it! Inspired to try and capture something like this one day. Thanks for sharing.
 
I never got to do much this year which is a shame as i upgraded my camera but heres one i took with my old 1000d and this believe it or not was my first time having a go at panning

One of my Fav shots of the year, i took many thousands of Quad MX this year got loads that i like. This i well remember as i got coverd each time with mud as i was only about 6 ft or less from the action.

So hard to pick a favourite out of the 35k images i managed to take this year but have decided on this one as the red smoke makes it stand out more for me to other drifitng images i have.

I wish Kimi was a little sharper, but it's a great angle from a viewing tower built right in the middle of the stadium section of the track. Very fast sequence of right-handers.

Not the best shot on here, but with my worn out and now dead 350d i was pleased with it.
