I've been a bit frustrated lately looking at photos (especially from Spa WEC) where all the shots are the same, and I'm getting bored. I want to see something spectacularly original!

So lets see your most original shots, or a new angle you found at a circuit.

Have only been shooting with a 70-200 so a 18-55 bought a welcome change to my photos.

 
I'm assuming this isn't just for track photographers?

This is mine anyway, first time I'd ever tried panning through trees/foliage with manual focus at silly shutter speeds:

1970. Druids at Brands Hatch, moments after Terry Dury attacked the banking with his Ford Escort. No debris fencing in those days and just an earth bank so me and many others around us were covered in some of Kents finest compost.........

This first one is from the craner curves at Donington, a very often photographed location on the track. Usually though I always find shots of it rammed full of cars at the start of the race so I thought I'd go the opposite direction.



Another favourite corner of mine is Coppice, with current circuit developments it's a long walk away from the pit-lane, therefore it doesn't attract much media or anyone else for that matter.

So what on earth is hard to understand about "the brief"? "Spectacularly original" is exactly what is says on the tin!

Unfortunately I cant claim this as my own - but it is me in the shot taken by my team..

this is taken from the start finish straight at silverstone using the reflection in the pit windows.. the two people on the right are the team sponsors. I think its a cracking shot and incredibly hard to get...

this one is one of mine and was taken using a non slr camera - its my son jumping in the background - not the same quality of shot but still something different?
