I had set out well before sunrise to get a shot of some abandoned quarry cottages near Capel Curig however the clouds sadly obscured the sunrise so it was plan B.

This was more of a recce in preparation for some snowy conditions.

I tried a couple of shots one in portrait the other a panoramic

That second one looks very atmospheric Rory - I can imagine it with more snow on the tops!
