I was just lying about on the ground on the hill one evening last summer when I saw something tiny & red moving among the soil.
This is the beastie. Would that red bit be blood? I just know nothing about these insects. It was only a few mm long maybe about 3_5mm

That's one enourmous zit that thing has. I bet he was off home to give it a squeeze!

I would say that could be a tick engorged with new oxygenated bright red blood, sawman.

Cant be sure though....its only a guess.
