Zoom Burst

this is my first attempt at one of those "marmite" effects. Personally I love this effect

What about everyone else? Do you love it or hate it?

Yes but forum etiquette is that you post the image so that it can be viewed in the forum, and the way that you've posted the image doesn't even make it clickable, can I suggest that you use the BBCode provided by flickr and post either the 500, 640 or 1024 pixel code sets for posting

If you follow this instruction below it's nice and easy if your unsure how to do it

OP - I like the effect when done appropriately but can't tell from the thumb whether yours is. Throw up a bigger version and a link and we can offer some feedback and suggestions for your future reference.

Thanks for the pointers Matt, sorry I was really struggling to get it to work (as some of you will have seen in my post on the Landscape forum. Let me try this again......

That's a lot better and I'm happy to help I actually rather like that you can still make out the scene but the burst is there to send your eyes funny I think you've done a great job on it
