    Pedal Power Thread

I could really do with a bike rack like that to sort the bikes out in the back of the house.

    Pedal Power Thread

Not really been on this site for a while thought I'd have a browse and stumbled on this thread. Cycling has always been a big part of my life. This a quick pic from the peaks with our mtb's I also ride road bikes and fortunate to live in a nice part of the country for both.

    Career change at 32?

I always believe you can change a career at any time... You just need to have a plan in doing so and more importantly a fall back if the plan doesnt work. think it will come down if the transition is not going to take too much time, any skill gaps that need to be over come etc...

    Any OCR runners on here.

planning on doing a Spartan next year. Possibly going for the triple in Barcelona to get the trifecta on one weekend. Only thing that has put me off is the 54 page rule book. in November I'm hopefully doing the Dash of Titans double race day with 5km to start then quickly followed by a 10...

    Any OCR runners on here.

so since I last updated on here I have done the man vs Mountain adventure race over Snowdon. Due to high winds and next to no visibility due to horizontal rain the summit was closed off. Still managed to do the 20+ miles and the obstacles at the end were really hard after that distance. My...

would go trail shoes never had an issue boosting someone over the wall with them. Had people stepping up on thighs and shoulders with no problem. some obstacles require a run up and you cant grip with just road runners.

That looks quite good, doesnt really look like there wis going to be much rope work at all judging by the obstacles. I think you will be fine. I really need to work on my grip, not a lot can be done when the obstacle is wet but at the last tough mudder i seem to have less grip than anyone else.

    Dubai Aircrash

My first reaction i think would be to get stuff that is near by, on my lap, maybe even something under the seat but doubt i would go for anything overhead. Being interested in aviation and from documentaries i have seen it is so unfair on the aircrew to stall the evacuation. IIRC the first...

I may have been guilty of some of these in the past. I do try and keep them all up to date when i get some time to myself.

    Beginner Filters

I use mainly just a hood, the use of filters as said above are really only for when they are needed and then they will be ND filters (more for my film camera's limited shutter speed) or CPL filters depending on what scene i am shooting etc.

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

I am thinking a reload between shots, There shouldnt be much movement at all once its solidly mounted on a tripod. Just trying to avoid power loss as will stop the interval timer. Its not a massive deal breaker to restart it again but it was just a thought at this stage. From the play i had with...
