Agree with the shutter speed comment. They all look a little soft to me, i.e. out of focus. Check what AF mode you're using. With the poor light conditions you had, you probably had your lens at a pretty low F number, which means shallow depth of field. In turn that means if your AF mode is not...
At least she could find the 50D in her handbag. That thing is like a tardis, anything smaller than your head is likely to vanish without trace, never to be seen again :)
So is it silly if we're out somewhere and my other half, who is a photography numpty, wants to use my camera t take some snaps and so sticks it in an auto mode before handing it back to me who sticks it back into M? :shrug:

Just ordered one too. Over £500 elsewhere. Maybe its too good to be true but Play.com are normally pretty good. They've also got billy-bargain 50Ds today as well so perhaps they're having a very quiet sale!
I've had enough of the dust and hair that's accumulated in my 50D. I can clearly see it thruogh the view finder but the pics are clear so its on the mirror or more likely the focus screen. I've taken the screen out and cleaned it using a sensor cleaning pad but I seem to have made the problem...
I've been playing with my 50D tonight and found this setting and was wondering what the difference was. Low and behold TP has the answer! Thanks for the great tutorial
