    Trying Off Camera Flash

Also, try bouncing it or using a shoot through umbrella/softbox. Will give you larger, softer light

    Different kind of portrait....

Took some photos this weekend of my Nephew suited and booted in his Biker Scout armour. Looks pretty cool (or geeky) :) Biker Dan-18 by adymace, on Flickr

Got my dog to stay still at last!

Just finished a photoshoot for my nephews and thought I'd leave the setup to try and get some pics of my German Shepherd, Kiri. Here's a couple of nice ones.... Kiri by adymace, on Flickr Kiri 2 by adymace, on Flickr

Second Attempt at child studio photography

There seems to be a lot of wrap from the backdrop. How far away was the child from the backdrop?

    What do you think?

Thanks for the input. I was trying to see if I could get the pure white background with just one flash which I achieved. Was just wondering if I needed to use my reflector for fill.

    What do you think?

Managed to get a couple of decent shots of my nephews messing around in front of a white background. 1 flash pointing at the BG on 1/2 power and 1 in a softbox CR at 1/8 power. Would a reflector have made a big difference? JackSchool00008 by adymace, on Flickr

    Background support

Just stay away from the Amazon cheap ones. They barely hold muslin backdrops!
