Dunno if these are in the same league as what you are looking at but, I have a pair of Celestron Trailseeker 8x42 phase coated, very bright and clear. Worth checking out the Celestron brand I think.

I think your best results are with your Olympus gear, achromats are ok but no match for a dedicated macro lens Mike. I am thinking of upgrading my G80 for the G9 for macro.

Definitely a wait and see at that price, my mk4 is relatively unused so I’m in no rush to part with said cash for same lens and sensor atm. Top screen gone too.
