Second issue - and this is probably user error but may be related to the above issue - it isn't recording video to the memory card? It will play the video in camera but doesn't record it to the card. Have I got to set up some special menu thingy for this or is it something to do with a writing...

I think I'm just being fussy about the screen - have just looked at it again and it really is incredibly tiny... JL have told me to send it back within 30 days so - mainly I'm just trying to work out how to use it and make sure it's not glitchy. On that front I'm having some teething issues...

Yes I remember but I don't tend to always watch the TV screen so it's really hard to follow - I'm usually doing other things aswell when the TV is on - if I settle down and try to give it my full attention I either get fidgetty and bored or I fall asleep!!
