Looks like Currys have finally sorted out the price of the 24-105mm https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/cameras-and-camcorders/photography-accessories/lenses/sony-fe-24-105-mm-f-4-g-oss-standard-zoom-lens-10181817-pdt.html
I sold my 24-70mm f4 after getting the 24-105mm. I figure it's money to put towards something else like 20mm f1.8 G or 100-400mm. Was a difficult decision as I don't think the 24-70 f4 is as bad as often made out, it's solidly built, and knew it wouldn't sell for what I thought it was worth...
Though they recently got stock in again after discontinuing it a while ago. The one I bought from them on eBay has a manufacturer date of May 2021 so not old stock.
Was sorely tempted to buy another and sell the one I bought off them for the same price on eBay recently lol. Good luck with cashback. I suspect they won't have many in stock.
24-105mm f4 £553.97 and you will likely get £200 cashback too as buying directly from Currys. I bought off their eBay store recently for the same price, so imagine I'll get the cashback declined...
Been reading this which suggests they are likely to refuse https://community.sony.ch/t5/camcorders/summer-cashback-rejected/td-p/3687879 but definitely worth 5 minutes effort for the chance at £200. Cheapest after cashback elsewhere is £699.10 which was quite tempting in itself...
Just having buyer's remorse after ordering a 24-105mm f4 for £553.97. All sold now, unfortunately. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SONY-FE-24-105-mm-f-1-4-G-OSS-Standard-Prime-Lens-Portraiture-Currys-/133778153597?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286
Kodak T max 100 120 x5 rolls £35 @ Amazon UK. "Temporarily out of stock" so worst that'll happen is the order gets cancelled. Note that you need to click on the other sellers option where it says "New (9) from £35.00" to select the one sold by Amazon. https://amazon.co.uk/dp/B00009V3CY/
Not...
HP5+ 36 exposures, £5.10 per roll at Amazon. Probably a bargain by today's standards. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00009V3CG
Edit just received the rolls I ordered and expiry date is Nov 2023 on 3 rolls, Feb 2024 on 1 roll.
Is this achieved using the focus bracketing play memories app? Moving the camera back and forth in continuous drive mode? Or manually adjusting the focus a tiny bit and reshooting?
