    Smallrig tabletop tripod..

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this tripod is bad. It's far from it, for the price it's a fantastic bit of kit and feels really sturdy. If I counterweight the back of my focus rail I don't have any doubts that the tripod will have any issues. Which I plan on doing to be honnest. If I can...

    Smallrig tabletop tripod..

Sorry I'm meaning that the ball head isn't supporting the weight of the tripod and it's shifting forward slowly with the weight of the lens the further down it gets the faster it goes. Although when it's at a straight 90 degrees it does stay put. I think if I didn't have the focus rail on it...

    Smallrig tabletop tripod..

Tripod arrived today and it seems very sturdy, however it does move unfortunately when angled down or when my focus rail is at the front. I will be keeping it and possibly counter weighting my rig. It might be worth noting the locking nuts are very small and take a lot of effort to tighten...

    Smallrig tabletop tripod..

Think I'm going to go ahead with it and give it some testing, if the weight isn't upto what it should be then amazon is usually great at this sort of stuff with customer service, so fingers crossed!

    Smallrig tabletop tripod..

This was the exact tripod I was looking at previously then seen this one what looks a lot more heavy duty and the weights they specify seem great.. If they are in fact true!

Does anyone have a 105mm sigma and a raynox 250.

I'll be tempted to try with my kit 70-300 should do quite well and maybe my 18-55 with extension tubes and the raynox will be interesting to have an experiment with. Next step... To the show us your DIY flash rig thread! Haha

Does anyone have a 105mm sigma and a raynox 250.

Thank you very much for the assistance! It's good to know that the sigma and raynox at infinity gives a same size image and great detail similar to the sigma without... I kind of thought if I'm using it I'd need the raynox either on or off, but I should just be able to move to infinity for it...

Does anyone have a 105mm sigma and a raynox 250.

That would be great if you could. A banknote with and without would give me a feel for how the raynox performs and how much more it magnifies. Thanks

    Product Photography - Lighting

I'm just looking for some lighting kit for product photography, now on amazon I've seen these lighting boxes which are meant to be used in conjunction with a mobile phone.. They seem like a quick fix, but I'm a little bit dubious about how practical they are and how good they will be... Has...
