Hi all, as suggested, I did reset the camera and made sure the Multiple Exposure was "off". It looks like the ghost image is now gone, but should the same anomaly repeat in time, I will definitely ask the dealer for assistance (and hope this won't cost me a fortune with repairs). Yes from a dealer but not within the return period I am afraid. I reset it yesterday as @gman advised, I noticed that the shutter speed noise was much quicker at high shutter speeds, which was not the case before, no matter what shutter speed I set up.
