Oh,I won't even try to explain how hard a simple thing like coming downstairs normally one foot after the other is after TKR and the joy of getting your first full rotation on exercise bike,simple things but all tough.( In my experience)

I'm 14 weeks post op TKR,I thought being relatively fit and strong pre op would be of benefit but I seriously underestimated how tough recovery would be,I'm getting stronger and my Physio is pleased with my progress but I found the first 6-8 weeks really hard and still trying to improve flexion.

Yeah,I was told after last cancellation that it would probably be quite quick as long as I got my blood sugars under control,I waited 13 months after being advised by my Physio to ask Dr for referral for the one that was cancelled.

I had consultation with Surgeon in October 10th and having Op on 27th Jan

Anyone had Knee Replacement lately? Got my date for end of Jan 26, both need doing but going for right one first,dreading being laid up but waited quite a while for this. Should have had first one done back in April but 4 days before op found out I had type 2 diabetes and they wouldn't do...
