I've pre-ordered one as well thanks to having a bunch of vouchers to take the price way down, but I'm already a bit wary of the size and weight...
Different focal length and aperture, but a Sigma 56mm would probably do 90% of what the Viltrox does, while being less than half the weight.
Ah! Somehow I was under the impression that it had some weather sealing, not sure where I got that from. The lack of an aperture ring I could live with, but if there isn't any significant improvement in image quality from the 18-55mm (nevermind the 16-55mm) then indeed it doesn't seem that...
The Sigma 18-50mm is beginning to pop up in various online shops for £429… very interested to see how it compares to the Fuji 16-55mm, as both are f2.8 but the Sigma is about half the size. Probably won’t buy one until it begins to appear in the used sections, though!
Question to all the Bronica people - is it normal that the shutter count on the film backs of my ETRSi resets itself back to 0 when changing film backs mid-roll? I'm using it with a speed grip if it makes any difference... Just wondering if I'm somehow doing something wrong, or if this is normal...
They do tend to have some absolute bargains in the second hand section (although they can go very quickly!), had some very good experiences with them as well.
I'm the same height as OP... can confirm that half of my photos look a bit like they've been taken from a distant bell tower somewhere. My girlfriend on the other hand is short, so she has the exact opposite problem and every photo we take of each other is at a funny angle somehow
This is exactly what I'm considering as well... Currently have an X-T2 that I'm not unhappy with, but tempted by the X-H1 because of the IBIS for low light performance as there is one for sale cheap quite local to me.
Then again the sensor is no better than the X-T2's so it would be more...
