Thanks, Cobra. I thought it might be a hoverfly, it seems to have the same shaped thorax as the hoverfly in the photo above.

I've seen it at angelsey, but as above it was a very weak blue, but i suppose there could be a bloom at a certain time of year.

I would say the one that wont boot up has a problem other than a dead cmos battery, i cant think of an instance where a dead cmos battery would stop a computer from booting, it just stores info on bios settings.

How do all of the hgv's cope on this road? surely they are slower than you. It sounds like a dangerous road, i think i would look for an alternate route if i was in your position. It does seem that your complaint of cyclists (in this instant) is due to your choice of road and vehicle.

A little more patience, an admittance of bigoted ideals and a little more acceptance would make the world a much less stressful place for us all... Ive been guilty of all of the above in the past but a little self anyalsis tought me a lot.

All i can say is being both a motorist and a motorcyclist, i try to repect all road users equally, that includes pedestrians. As a motorcyclist that is vulnerable i only wish all other road users would extend the same courtesy to all other road users too, but apparently some of us are second...

I agree this driver should get jail time but he probably wont, it seems the courts are more bothered about theft than endangering peoples lives. I ride a motorcycle and i see/experience similar behavour to this everyday, obviously not to this extreme though, people are far too comfortable when...

I would also add if you have never touched the bios then it should be set to default, meaning even if the bios does reset whilst changing the battery it will only reset again to the default settings.
