Great location but it looks like you've had harsh lighting conditions and I think I would of tried to have a wider angle
The mono one looks too over sharpened
It's a different angle of a frequently shot subject but it doesn't really do anything for me as there's very little interest and the brownness of the river isn't very appealing
I'd be interested to see a mono conversion though, as already mentioned, which may enhance textures and which would...
I like what you were going for but I think a further forward shooting position might of been worth a go to try and achieve some separation between the nearest and the middle posts and to achieve better symmetry
Quite disappointing to see all these in mono as many of the subjects I'm sure would of had very rich and vibrant colours
I do like the city ones with the water reflections and it's a shame the skies were so featureless and flat when you took them, again those would of been great in colour...
I think I would like to of seen them pp'ed the other way round and the 1 in colour and 2 in mono
I'd also bring the crop in to focus on the main subject matter and the waves on 2
I had a walk along a few miles of The Cleveland Way near me the other day to scope out 'The Wainstones' for a future shoot
On the way back the views looking across Bilsdale were truly beautiful and re-enforced the term Yorkshire is Gods country
