This I took in Kent caverns yesterday, the only light in the cavern for a while, hand held and electronic shutter. The face and the Manaquin also hand held in little light, my Nikon would missed these shots for sure.

Screen protector should be fine, no different to a phone really.

Have you thought about the GX80 ? Same style as the GX7 except no tilting view finder, but has a new electronic shutter to reduce shutter shock.

Indeed, Mike was asking about the GX7 and post focus, but not sure if he means the G7. I love trying to explain the many differences to customers :/ lol.

And the GX80 as I have it on mine. Which the would choose different numbers for the different styles of camera as the G7 often gets confused with the GX7.

I'm pretty sure the dual IS only works for the GX8 and GX80 models. It also doesn't have the post focus as that's part of the new 4K photos stuff the newer cameras have.

The GX80 had the new electronic shutter which should reduce/stop shutter shock. I don't know what it is tbh as I haven't experienced it, is there a good combo to try to replicate it ? The evf is a little bit of a let down being LCD based and not oled, but I'll take the compact size and the few...

OK so i have charged it, and tested. yes you can have Auto ISO in manual mode. the GX80 gives you a choice of Mechanical/electronic/auto for shutter, so in manual it will stop at 1/4000 but in Auto it will auto change after that to electronic shutter up to 1/60000 On the GX80 you can...

All good questions, I will have to get back to you as it's battery is flat, one of the downsides is battery life, so once it's charged I will try them all out.

It feels very much like the GX7 in hand, well balanced and comfortable, not too light or too heavy just need some more lens now, would love the 100-400 but it's a bit out of my price range even with my work discount.
