OFFICIAL I HAVE A NEW (FILM RELATED) TOY THREAD!!

Finally own a Holga G lens camera, GFN model. I already have a 120CFN, two 120N, a 120S and one of those ultrawide pinholes. Was also given by a work colleague an Olympus OM10 with winder and a few lenses. First thing I did was pick up a m4/3 to Oly adaptor and now my Panasonic GF-3 is much...

    Strange face of insects

With the two Mantis photos, the black dots on their eyes, are they reflections of your camera/lens?

What company did you go for, can I ask?

    Nikon Customer services. Your Experiences

That was good of him. People are always quick to complain (rightly or wrongly), but praise is harder to come by.

Macro focus stacker for a beginner

I haven't used this software, but ControlMyNikon looks to be what you're after. It'll work with your D90, has a 14 day fully functional trial and the full price is only $29.95. This is assuming you want to do macro work tethered to your computer... A quick Google also brings up Zerene Stacker...

    Light weight medium format camera

I still have my Mum's old Ross Ensign Autorange 16-20, which still takes good photos and collapses to a large-sh pocketble size. I took it around the Med in the early 80s on a school educational cruise, must find those negatives.

    Film Developing in the UK

/subscribes to thread. I have quite a lot of 120 film in my (garage) freezer so any new competant places for developing is going to be useful. My local Snappy Snaps, while doing a good job on developing (and leaving uncut), has put its prices up from a doable £4.50 a roll to now something like...

Sorry, missed it this year (and the last four years). Will try harder next time.

Thumbs up for Tesco Contents Insurance

Contents insurance, maybe, but their quotes for car insurance left a lot to be desired. My car insurance came up a month or so ago and the letter from Tesco said my premium was going to be £515 (Fully comp with 6 year's no claims). Rang round and got John Lewis (via Quidco) to do a better...

    Nikon D7xxx owners thread

That's so going to help me spend money! I was sorely tempted with the recent D7000 price drops at Amazon, but Panamoz's price (plus the bank transfer discount) is a no brainer. Just got to wait until they're back off holidays and work out what to tell her indoors. Thanks, I think. :D

    IF NEW - READ THIS

Hello all, My name's Jon and I'm from Southend on Sea, in the UK. I joined TP on 29-05-2009, then promptly forgot all about it until a couple of days ago. Have been adding/updating my details. Hoping to get a D7000 in the next week or so.

What do we do with our photos?

Most are on my PC, backed up to two different locations. Some are on Flickr and a few have been printed. Really must sort through my old directories and cull the ones that don't need keeping. I also have several rolls of film that need scanning... Never enough time, eh?
