I bought Nextorage cards, very happy with them. They get good reviews and are a decent combination of quality, reliability and price. I’ve got an R5 Mk1 rather than mk2 but don’t think that makes much difference.
Until you get the dreaded trolley check :)
We’ve been doing the scan as you shop thing for ages, so much easier and beats the queues most of the time.
Possible that it might have been an agreed death (mercy killing/assisted suicide/whatever you want to call it ) I suppose? I presume the police, coroner etc have to follow certain protocol before it’s decided it’s definitely foul play.
You need a big chunk invested to stand a reasonable chance of winning, even then you’d probably do better putting the money into a decent savings account. The only real advantages to PB are any winnings are tax free, plus there’s always the remote possibility you’ll win big.
I used to live close to the Welsh Harp reservoir in NW London. You’d quite often see Bill Oddie over there watching the waterfowl and migrating birds. I think Kate Humble’s description of him as “irascible” is probably right as he was generally very grumpy, assuming he even acknowledged you in...

We’ve still got a landline. Although it’s never used by us for calling out, sometimes an old and very technophobic neighbour...
Part of the problem was slug bait being so toxic, which had a knock on effect on hedgehogs. Now the nastier bait has been banned that might help a bit.
Must admit I have never once seen a hedgehog where we live, despite us being in a country village, with our house backing onto open farmland...
