Another visit to the Chobe river, Botswana

Thanks for the insights :) I will just have to stick with my 40-150mm and 300mm with x2 & x1.4 TC's as needed.....at this stage I am thinking the x2 on the 40-150 and the x1.4 on the 300

    WBMT.....What baffled me today

Wow!!!! Sadly it does sound like the death toll will rise :( The news reporting is now saying the ship lost all power and that they did advise the port authorities. The one thing that I note(?) is that bearing in mind the size of ships (now?) using that waterway, why wasn't there mitigation...

    Olympus OM-D E-M5, E-M1, E-M10 - Mk1, Mk2 & Mk3 Owners Thread

    Upvc window catch help please

Ah! a new handle and you should be 'good to go' :) I second the oiling the innards of the mechanism, including the latching 'bolts' and slides along the frame edge.

    Upvc window catch help please

As above you can buy replacement handles...... But can you clarify:- You say the handle 'bit' pulls away, though if offered up into position does it work to latch the window? NB I surmise from it's angle and that it was taped shut that the handle does no longer turn the lock mechanism? IMO you...

    Camera for China & Thailand

I shifted from Canon full frame gear to Olympus mFT in 2016...... primarily because of the weight and the image quality is very good, though at higher ISO you need to use noise reduction software but it is easily controlled, in my case, using DxO PhotoLab. Just thinking out loud re: drones ~ if...
