Silverstone F1 Grand Prix - my attempts at capturing motion

I used to go old school, switch to manual focus, then focus on a part of the track and take the image when the car gets there. It's worth pushing your exposure a little too to get more detail in the cars, yours are a little dark. Then I got the 5D mk3, set the focal point lower in the screen and...

Best way to 'hide' catch fencing?

If you can get infield, around Village, there's a lot of gaps in the fencing for the cameras, which oftem aren't used. No good for the big meets though, unless they have the cameras there on a crane/cherry picker then those spots are free. The circuit gates are also low allowing you to shoot...

Please explain car keys to me

We lost a key to the MX-5. £257 for Mazda to replace because they said it needed to be programmed. Took them 3 attempts to get the right key (they sold us the car new) then they couldn't program it, saying we'd need a whole new imobiliser system, but still charged my wife the £257 for the key...

Could I suggest yopu could probably run an EV car as your main car, then rent a normal car for those occaisions you need something different?
