Trade Canvas Print - Our community, photos, offers & more

I finally took a photo I thought was worth putting on to a large canvas (36" X 24"). Ordered on Monday, arrived on Wednesday. I'm really pleased with the result, and the excellent service from TCP!

    Cheers Boss!

    Southern Hawker

Cheers Russ! On the basis of these, and the other shots I've posted today, I'm very pleased with it. It missed focus on a few shots, but they didn't have much contrast so that was probably a factor. I need to try the R5 with my 500mm f4L next!

Thank you! I've attached a smaller version.

    Bank Vole

Not surprising when they are food for so many other species!

Admin, any ideas why the second pic isn't showing? It appears when I try to edit the post.

    Southern Hawker

A couple of flight shots of this male Southern Hawker. I was having little success until it hovered briefly and my camera locked-on, getting me some usable shots. Southern Hawker (Aeshna cyanae). by Dave O'Brien, on Flickr Southern Hawker (Aeshna cyanae). by Dave O'Brien, on Flickr...

    Migrant Hawker

A gorgeous shot, but that's a Migrant Hawker!

    Marble White Butterflies

All wonderful shots but I particularly like #4, especially the way the background lightens in tone from bottom to top. The only benefit you'd have got from stacking is that the orchid would have been fully sharp.

    Official ID thread

This sounds like Box-tree Moth, an invasive, non-native species which is decimating Box Trees in some parts of the country.

    Common Blues

Cheers! Cheers Kevin! Yes, I've not seen many at all so far this year. Cheers Les! I've been doing a lot of stacking since getting my R5, as the focus bracketing feature makes it so easy.

    Ringlet

Very nice! I particularly like the lighting on #2 as it highlights the shape of the wings.
