    dmb, thank you for your comments much appreciated, only been doing this since oct last year, so experimenting, its a combination of 2 pictures that went wrong, as you say surreal, overdone and all a bit jarring, however, thought the title suited the picture i thought. Will have another go...

    The easiest way is to download the hyperfocal distance charts and set your camera to manual, its a simple as that. cheers Darryl.
