Back of holiday now and although most of the time was spent with family, I did manage to get a couple of evenings to myself. I used the opportunity to work on low light/long exposure. Along with this I also decided to use bracketing and panoramas more. Here are a few of my early favourites...
I used the older RF602 I think it was or 3. They are currently sat in a drawer somewhere so if you can be a little bit patient whilst I find them, I’m happy to stick them in the post. I don’t use them. I had a receiver connected to 1 strobe and the other was triggered by the photocell
I have the first generation of the Pro (early adopter) and I have been using it with LR ever since. My workflow tends to be to import to iPhoto and into LR temp collection. I then delete from the iPad. I do all my rating and quick edits on here. I do however have an iMac which I use for larger...
You phrased it better than me :) using crop for those occasions where it isn’t possible to be stood in the right place (ie physical restrictions of surroundings like a wall/cliff etc)
I agree about the flexibility. When I switched to Sony, one of the reasons was the size/weight savings and for that reason I decided to concentrate on prime lenses. Since taking that step, I have found that I have enjoyed the restrictions that the fixed focal length created, not endlessly...
I’ve recently trying decide whether to change my lens line-up, currently the only zooms I have are the 16-35 f4 and the 100-400 GM, other than that I have a 35mm Art (last of my Canon lenses), the 55mm f1.8 and the 85mm f1.8. I have been contemplating changing my primes for the Tamron 28-75...
Not quite it’s it’s baby brother the C43, fortunately I don’t pay for the fuel as I do about 35k a year. It’s currently averaging 27mpg! Who cares though with the smile it puts on my face
Ok well, in a very loose link to Sony, I thought I'd add a photo to the group. Hopefully as I am on holiday next week I should be able t actually get the Rii out a few times. Thats the plan anyway.
Back to the photo, I recently got a shiny new toy, so I had the perfect opportunity to share a...
With all this talk about 70-200, I’m thinking I’m missing out . Personally I dont use either, I prefer the 100-400 and find it much more versatile, with a slight twist I’ve got a lens for wildlife. With the close focus ability it works for pseudo macro stuff. Some of my favourite landscapes have...
Yes you are correct although in fairness to the Cube, the biggest difference has been made by the external aerial. I have just run the speed test and got 56mbps. Before I was probably averaging around 20-25mbps.
Our use is mainly streaming and quote often TVs are streaming different things via Netflix/amazon and Sky Q. Mostly streamed in either 4K or HD, so ping speed isn’t overly essential, having checked mine they are typically around 40-60ms
