I love the dust caps too, I loved the ones I had on my car too until someone nicked them :( Not a huge fan of the car but the pics are well lit and composed :)
Fantastic thread, I've been watching it for ages. Well done, there are some simply amazing shots which I would be more than happy to have on my wall. I wish I had the kind of patience required for this kind of project.
 Bruce!
Different seems to be my thing at the moment, thanks Steven. You have to work with what you're given, no fog would have been better but maybe more mundane.
Went out and about in the borders yesterday with hopes of photographing Scott's View and Leaderfoot. Didn't get quite what I expected as the fog rolled in, luckily 30 mins later it lifted just enough for me to get these shots. As always any comments are most welcome.

Thanks people, hubby used the tripod and got the more common bridge shots so I went for a wander and found myself underneath. I like to try different things
A selection of my most recent portraits, as always c+c very welcome.

I live 20 mins from the bridges and am embarrassed to say I have never photographed them. So out we went on a cold Saturday evening and here are the results, hope you like the alternative view, please feel free to c+c

Love the second pic, looks like the pigeon is trying to look like the meerkat! Cannot comment on quality of shot or processing as my internet connection quality is shocking.
