That's an interesting thought. You may well be right on canon pricing but whenever I had canon DSLRs I always found that the Nikon offering was often more expensive. Lenses were more dependent on what you wanted but bodies....maybe since I bought low end bodies Canon slightly edged on bang per buck.
Yes. I know I can do that with layers in photoshop but recently I've mainly been using lightroom for more basic/quick edits with the ability to do more quickly in batch. If there is an easy way to do the same in lightroom I'd be glad to hear of it. :)

Yeah, it was fairly dark as the sun has only just broke through the cloud. I did try to reflect a darker style. I deliberately exposed to the left to preserve sky detail and then boosted in post. Maybe a couple are too dark actually. Thinking also my monitor may be too bright.
On the talk about Fuji, I came to Sony from Fuji but have also previously used M4/3rds and Canon DSLRs. I loved all the stuff I used in different ways. With Fuji it did have a really nice feel but I guess in the end it's about the results. If I could afford to keep a Fuji Xt-30 with the 18-55...
