    Monopod/Ballhead Recommendaion

Bagged a fair priced Sirui P326 via ebay with an included decent enough ballhead for my city break/street shooting.

    Monopod/Ballhead Recommendaion

Yeah, fair comment. I've had the Wimberley and a third-party one in the past. A ballhead is OK for long lenses and a monopod tho you lose some flexability. There are workarounds. I am likely not organising a photo safari for the next year; there is no point in investing.

    MPB

It was a very good buy-and-sell experience with MPB, including sending back stuff they felt was needing to be priced lower than the quote I received, so I asked for return. Sold it all easily and for more on eBay. Also, a great buy and refund on new/not suitable experience via Wex in...

    Monopod/Ballhead Recommendaion

I'm after a super light/small but functional Monopod for my city breaks, i.e. easy and unobrusive carry. Maybe Carbon, but around 500g, and a foot or so long, but easy extension up to neck/eye height 5.5" to 6'. ball head easy and stable for light general walkaround gear Fuji/Voigtlander set-up...

    Experience of Viltrox 13mm 1.4

Nothing coming up used and new is too pricey for me right now, so have gone for a used Fuji 16mm 2.8 which is a super nice little travel lens that I've owned once before. Thanks for the views. The 13mm still looks a great option.

That's an excellent, practical review. Thanks a lot for posting.

    Experience of Viltrox 13mm 1.4

Thanks, I'm going to keep an eye out for one. I have 3.5 months until I need it, TBH, so I can be patient. I was a mug and sold my brilliant Zeiss 12mm for £300. Now I'm looking to replace it with something perhaps not as good for close to the same money. That's being a photo nut, I suppose :D

    Experience of Viltrox 13mm 1.4

I'm after a wide-ish angle that is pocket-friendly price-wise. I've had plenty of great ones in the past, but I can't stretch too far at the moment. Max would be £300 or so. The Viltrox seems to be well-reviewed, decent price and has a good build. But what about real-world shooter experience...

    Fuji 23mm f2 vs Viltrox

The 23mm 2 is a small and outstanding quality lens. I generally ran it min 2.8, more usually f4 and was always happy. I've had a couple and would have another. I just got a 23mm Viltrox as a second choice because I'm a bit skint and wanted to get back into Fuji after selling everything due to a...

Adobe Camera Raw and Photoshop CS/Elements Compatibility

So my copy of Elements 2021 worked great with my Fuji Xt-30, with no RAW issues. I just got the XT30 II and now Elements says it won't work with my file. Tried to update, but the update menu is greyed out. Tried a manual install of RAW and not interested. Tried the v13 RAW and is there for use...

    Finally got a Fuji Adapter

I have the 1.7 too. I think I tried to do some mod on it. Will have to dig it out.

    Finally got a Fuji Adapter

Had my Pentax 50mm SMC 1.4 for Donkeys years. used to use it with a Canon adapter back in the day. Renders great IMO. Finally got around to buying a Fuji to K Mount adaptor. Easy fit, £20. So i now have one of the best 50mm's ever made ... apparently ... back in action. super smooth manual...

    Big Cats

Agree, I've been just a few meters from a leopard and it was completely unseen ... until you do see it and crap yourself while reaching for a shorter lens!! In a vehicle obviously.

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

Sure, that's fine and good luck to him. The guy is looking for suggestions to supplement his existing kit. Fact a faster lens is able to adapt to lower light better without upping the ISO is a good thing ... I'd say? He already has the zoom.
