http://www.thelensdoctor.co.uk/ Check this guy out.. He's cleaned & fixed a tokina lens for me and completely cleaned out my D700. This guy is awesome at his job. I was really happy with the jobs he done and his pricing is good too, I was surprised how low the prices were that he charged me...

The Crows Nest (tree in fog)

About twenty years for me! Jeez.. How the time flies! Since I have upgraded I'm very happy with the new features in ps2020. There are alot of things in 2020 that really annoys me. I have recently been tasked to do some gfx work and it's working on graphics that some features that are missing...

The Crows Nest (tree in fog)

As I said I use Photoshop 2020. I did install ps2021, however it seems the cpus in my computer are not recognised by ps2021. I have dual xeon chips, which ones I cannot remember. On my phone or I'd take a look to see. So anyway I installed the oldest version I could see and it works a treat...

Simon thanks for that.. Recently I have took the plunge and subscribed the Adobe Creative cloud and now use Photoshop 2020, and have re-edited this image and WOW! what a difference in the two edits. I like the re-edit to the original. What do you think? Note: I was using Photoshop CS6 prior.

Cleaning sticky tacky rubber dials and buttons

Mmm IPA.. I love this stuff. Love using it to dissolve glue from stickers, cleaning PCBs that's covered in flux. Can be used for plant matter extractions.. Just don't get it on your skin or breathe the fumes!! When I buy a secondhand bit of kit the IPA is well used t give it a clean.

    Flower I/D please

I was going to say it's an Iris. There's an app the OP may want to try, PlantSnap. Photograph any plant/tree and the app let's you know what it is. Brill idea!

    Does anyone photograph funerals?

This is an interesting thread. A week ago I'd probably have the thought that photographing a funeral would be a decent idea if done tastfully and discretely. But since a tragic death in my family this week my train of thought has changed. I now thinking that I just couldn't imagine picking up...
