Got up to Loch Fyne at the weekend and brought the X100VI on its first proper test. I'm very impressed with it - I always have had a soft spot for the X100 variants! Only issues so far is that it doesn't seem to be registering the wide converter. I've an original gen with magnets stuck on - this...

It arrives and is on charge. Definitely not seeing this gap with the official Fuji adapter. However, it is a very slightly darker shade of silver than the camera, so swings and roundabouts! Can also confirm that screen protectors for the v work fine on the vi.

LCE online. I'd gone by WEX in Glasgow on the day it was announced and they reckoned they had allocated all their pre-orders. LCE sorted me out pretty quickly.

I love the low silhouette in 3 - really nice choice of composition.

I've not had the 18-55, but have had the 18-135, 16-80 (two copies) and the Tamron 17-70. I liked the range of the 18-135 and it was a decent performer, but both copies of the 16-80 were better than it. I moved to the 17-70 to try it out as I've had various Tamrons over the years and like their...

    Film camera prices.

Tell me about it. I really, really regret not stretching myself a few years ago and getting a Fujifilm GF670 or the Voigtlander equivalent when they were roughly £1500. I just love the look and useability of them. Now they are genuinely ridiculous money...

Was playing around with the X100F at the weekend and realised that I only have a cheap pol filter in the bag for it and it left a horrible colour cast. Anyone recommend decent filters that they bought recently? Happy to spend up tp ~£50 on it (as it's 49mm, I reckon that should get a good enough...

    First class service from Kenro

Can agree on this - I got my Fuji flash updated by them earlier this year and it was done brilliantly. Minimum fuss and really good value for money!
