    RGB Tube light prices

I was looking at a Neewer TL60 a while ago for a backlight/rim light. Any reason to not purchase them? Ideally I’d be able to get something second hand off someone who is recovering from Gear Acquisition Syndrome :) Alternatively, anything else I should consider? I already have a decent key...

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

Honestly, a lot of the Fuji photos I see are a bit more about emulating that 80s-90s film camera look. The “out of focusness” of them seems almost intentional at this point. They seem fine for the portraits I take, but landscapes seem a bit fuzzy if that makes sense. Never tried checking edge to...

    Camera for Travel Photography

I use an X-T50 as my “holiday snaps” camera. So far it’s never missed a beat. I love the recipes and the option to take video too. I’ve added a CPL for the shots I need to take when I’ve inevitably overslept the sunrise.

    Cotswold Cameras

Had a similar experience trying to get a Fuji off them. Turned out to not be too far off the cost for UK retail so I gave it a miss. Some of the DSLRs they have cracking deals on though! Still waiting for my most recent order. I think they quote 7-14 working days? Fingers crossed it gets here soon.

TBH, if focus absolutely mattered then I’d not pick a Fuji. For shooting sport or fast moving subjects then I’d always go to my Canon DSLR.

My personal 'lighting tier list' where do you guys stand?

Is the Neewer stuff that bad? I agree with the point about poor quality modifiers. I recently got back into indoor photography and the new stuff I’m buy8ng now is cheap and cheerful. However, the good stuff I had acres to several years ago was built a lot better.

Got a Fuji as a “casual” camera. Absolutely loving it so far. Any resources for recipe customisation?

    Buying a domain name

I use Squarespace, but I've been with them for less than a year. I know someone who's used them for several years and reports no problems. You could use Google for domain names if you'd rather.
