Some would say both shots lack detail in the shadow areas. But I quite like this effect. What I do like is the dappled light on the trees in photo 1 and the carpet of Snowdrops in 2

A day spent plane spotting at Manchester Airport gives plenty of scope for candid shots. Whilst my mate was otherwise engaged in watching the big iron birds I managed a quick snap. I rather like the unusual angle.
