Thanks for replying but I also have it turned off as shown but my camera frequently changes focus area. I sometimes have to reset the focus area between every shot. I could buy an A6700 but told my wife the 6600 would be my last camera purchase ever. Dave

Almost certainly true but modern UK did not inherit huge prairies or Forests as in some countries. We have a very small country which almost all was developed at least for farming centuries ago. Given the need to produce food, a compromise is necessary.
