I've used Lynda.com some years ago for creative suite training and found the training really good. Not used it for photography stuff but would interested to hear if you think it's any good

No I wasn't going to get a set as such, but get one or two to start with and add to it over time. I wasn't sure whether to get hard or soft...guess it depends on what sort of stuff you're shooting

Thanks Pinpho Thanks - started the journey about 18 months ago with a secondhand D7000 body and a new Sigma 17-70mm f2.8-4 and pretty quickly bought a decent quality tripod and a remote release. Read a few books too and constantly looking at different people's flickr for inspiration
