Camera recommendations for nightclub photographer

Hey guys, I am a DJ and would like to take photos of my gigs for online promotion. I am a complete amateur and know nothing about cameras, so I bought a fujifilm S4240 camera which takes decent photos some of the time but i need to take well over 100 shots to get 30 useable ones with around 5...
