    Focal lengths!

This has totally cleared it up for me. Focal length is always the same. Distortion is always the same. Field of view is the thing that changes. Correct? :D

    Focal lengths!

so the only difference is how much arround the edges is seen? distortion on lenses will always be the same Thata what im wondering aswell martyn hehe, for example a 12mp camera is a 12 mp camera no matter what, so you would think the cropped image would be better quality as its more pixels into...

    Stick or upgrade?

Thanks for great reply. I think I will have a rethink on what to get, but its hard trying to find a 5d with low shutter count as most are pretty old now. So the prices are quite high for me, I have £1000 but I want to get quite a wide variety of equipment to expand on my learning experience...

Thanks for the comments mate etc. much appreciated. I just worry that getting a used 5D with very little life left in it might not be worth the cash. Ive bought of digitalrev plenty of times with no imported tax etc Very professional company with a great community orientated website...

    Stick or upgrade?

Only thing putting me off the 5D is the age of it and lack of features. High ISO etc and overall speed. Would the 60D be a nice upgrade from 1100d?

    Stick or upgrade?

Would love a full frame but prices are through the roof are they not? Would the 60mm macro not be about 90/100 on a cropped sensor? I will look into your ideas, cheers :)

Modelling Bulbs - Eveready Energy Saver?

Hi there, Have just bought some cheap studio lights but the modelling bulb which came with it was smashed, im awaiting another. But in the meantime I bought a EVEREADY 20w / 1152lm / 220-240V/50Hz energy saving lamp. The 20w is equal to 100w, which is still a lot lower than the recommended...
