Just seems odd that in servo mode it focuses on the eye with no problem, but in one shot mode it does not.

Could you enlighten me regarding about how to calibrate the lens to a camera body. I have the Sigma and dock. I have just got the Canon R7 and would like it to be as sharp as possible.

Before I sell my 70D, I would like to find out the shutter count. I have used EOS Count before, but it now says I need Internet Explorer to use it, on my Windows 11 laptop, I have Chrome, Firefox and Edge, but no IE. Any suggestions on how to obtain the shutter count? Thanks!

I have just upgraded to Elements 2023, after a RAW plug in update, I am pleased to report I can now open the R7 RAW files. One more question, can I now delete Elements 2022 to free up a bit of space.

Just checked, I purchased the full version of Elements 2022 in February 2022 direct from Amazon for £68. The 2023 version is now £86.56 a near 30% rise, good old Adobe!

Perhaps ACR v15.4 is not compatible with Elements 2022? Looks like Elements 2023 here I come! Is there any advantage in buying the full version over the upgrade, apart from saving £16?

Many thanks for your help on this! When I first got the 70D, I had to upgrade to the latest version of Elements, which was several years old anyway, so I didn't mind so much. As I only purchased this version of Elements last year, I am not too happy at having to upgrade to the 2023 version...

I have a Canon 70D and a recently purchased R7. I purchased Elements 2022 last year and the 70D raw files opened with no additional plug in's. The C-raw files were from the R7, but I have changed this to normal raw files. So the C-raw files are not applicable anymore.

Thanks for all your replies, much appreciated! I will contact Adobe and see what they say.

I understiand about the c-raw images, but I find it frustrating now I have gone back to normal raw files not being able to open them.
