I am always puzzled about the reports in various forms about batteries expanding.
I have never experienced it with any - and I mix third party and OEM.
But ... I never charge in camera.
They were around quite a while back for the NP-W235 format and the NP-W126 style has been available more recently.
The batteries with in-built USB-C tend to be lower capacity and may not be chargeable using a separate charger or in camera - and may not be fast charging. And they are usually a...
While it has a whole load of strengths - C1's really big differentiator is its support tethered work. So bundling the Live Unlimited probably gets more users committed to that - and so cementing future subscriptions. and also amortising the infrastructure to support that feature across a wider...
Going for something that matches what the college/school uses gets everybody working off the same page as regards to controls and general look / feel / advice. Lecturers are not faced with having to give advice to a student on operational stuff such as how to get their EVF to in a dark studio...
It depends.
I sometimes carry a Sigma DP compact in which case it's a bit like film - only a few shots captured on an outing.
This month I've been doing a project that has resulted in only a dozen shots per session - and roughly two sessions per day over five days.
I was doing some landscape...
The 8750 and also Epsons XP970 are sort of unsung heroes. I've looked at both in the past.
My Pro-10S was written off a few weeks ago.
While I didn't dislike it -- the whack-a-mole of cartridge changes and cleaning cycles was irking me a lot. The user interface is non-existent and horrible. I...
I think it would be worth eliminating the SK400 as being the problem.
Try triggering the flash manually in darkness with a very long shutter speed (or bulb) to eliminate the effect of trigger and shutter delay interaction. If the gradient is still present then that would suggest the flash unit...
I still find HP5 quite hard to get completely wrong (and I'm fairly clumsy at times).
And you still get to play in the darkroom afterwards when it comes to printing.
And if it's really past the point of recovery then it's .... well .... become 'art'.;)
That said - I don't feel comfortable...
I do miss film cameras - MF and also SLRS without motors and with decent viewfinders and focusing screens. But I personally don't miss film
However I do feel that I am seeing an increase in the number of photographers using film - both strangers in the street and also acquaintiances who seem to...
That was my experience. I acquired a Minolta 600si as my second SLR and was excited by having stop down preview - and not so excited after trying it in the real world and discovering its practical limitations.
I would concur.
The X-H1 feels more solid (to me) than the X-H2.
I also think the surface finish is slightly tougher on the X-X1.
I think from that 'X-T3' epoch the X-T30 also feels surprisingly well made for what was meant to be a lower range camera.
I have an iPad along with my laptop.
But. Looking at replacing my iPad then there's no point in going for a higher end model because I have the laptop. Whereas there are others who would buy a high end iPad Pro and not buy a laptop as well.
The upper models in the iPad range start to look very...
It's not as if they don't know how to incorporate them into products and make them work well .....
I suspect that Apple have an internal divide between the iPad Pro and the Macbook lines that means that they must be differentiated.
The Neo is an interesting product because it...
I think it depends on what you're looking for. Some of the reviewers don't look very hard.
For Neo money in the Windows world I'd expect an OLED touch screen and pen plus a decent Ryzen or Core Ultra, ... and more RAM and storage
It wouldn't have the Neo's battery life. It would have a decent...
