I don't personally think WR is much of an issue as regards rain. My biggest issue with weather over the years in Scotland has been keeping the lens (or filters) clear in wind and rain - and making sure the interior of my bag remains dry. I usually just use a cloth and a plastic bag or shower cap...
The savings make it worth it to some buyers.
You tend to hear about problematic transactions. Successful transactions tend to be silent.
Some may. Some may not. It's not clear what e-infinity do as customers don't appear to deal with import - e-infinity handle that.
The savings on many items...
Nice evening treat to find in the forum.
I'd pick #2 taking the the illumination and shape of the wings from below over the top of the feathers in say #3.
I'd suggest getting some silica gel and a suitable airtight container. Seal the lens in the container with the silica gel and put it somewhere dry and warm for a day or two.
Aperture rings started to disappear lenses from the late eighties as electronics and P mode became common. SLR cameras started getting control wheels in the grip. With autofocus bodies being developed manufacturers redesigned their systems and introduced new ranges of lenses.
Fuji have left...
I tend to think that when I pick up an X-T30 as well. The size and feel with a small metal barrelled lens - with an aperture ring - feels like an early late 70s/ early 80s small SLR like a Pentax ME or MX, or an Olympus OM.
In some ways I find it ridiculous that the aperture ring should be...
It's an inflated price but that isn't new. It's a trend, Back when Sony were in their Nex phase you could get APS-C ILC cameras for around £250 and up.
I kind of wondered that too. But I suspect the issue here is compromise. What choices do you have in the market for this type of compact -...
AIUI the reality is that with the X100 the EVF becomes the primary VF for most users.
Back in the days of film SLRs and even DSLRs very few had a 100% coverage viewfinder.
This is one area where the EVF or using the rear screen with live preview is now taken for granted.
When I had film...
I don't think so. I think we'll see a distinct X-Pro 4 at some point. It's part of the X-series brand identity. I suspect Fuji don't sell that many but the publicity, loyalty, and goodwill it generates make up for the lack of volume.
PSA parts who are the brand licensee do them at £30.29. Delivery £9 so you'd need to but at least two to amortise delivery.
(I use dotFoto branded non-OEMs - so can't offer an actual opinion).
You kind of learn not to .... after a while. It can be annoying while you adapt.
I would go for the X-T4 unless size is an issue (The X-T30 with a small prime or zoom is convenient). X-T4 has a better viewfinder and IBIS.
I would be tempted to look at the Viltrox 13mm F1.4.
I bought a 16mm F1.4 a few years back and would carry it along side the 18-55. I do like the 16mm F1.4 but my inclination is towards going wider and had the Viltrox been available then I would have bought it instead at the time. If you have a...
