Hello! Thought I'd share this with you guys, as it's been a while since I've posted anything. I photographed this during a wedding, rested my camera on the jetty. Wish I had a longer lens with me with me to get in close to the mist, lodge and boat. Couple of spts I should have cloned out, maybe...

If you can, instead of upgrading, get an additional camera instead. I used to have the G16, and really miss the camera, taking my 5D4 and lenses on holidays etc is just too cumbersome. I bought he G16 for £270 when it was brand new, and they're over £300 second hand now :(

I've not used the Nissin, but can certainly recommend Godox, I had the 850, and it'll last me all day! Recharges really quick too. It's finally failed after years of abuse, so I'm looking to upgrade to the 860II. Hope this helps, good luck with the wedding. EDIT - Hmm... looks like I'm about a...

I take my 50 and 85 out when I'm shooting portraits, 90% of the photos are from the 85. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. I love the fact that the 860 is a lithium-ion battery, and I'd like to move away from AA batteries.

I use the 12-24, no complaints here. Does the job for me.
