Love Hognoses, I have 2 , male and a female and they are awesome snakes. Just don;t get bitten by one! (I speak from experience). Lovely picture too, I rarely see mine curled up like that!
Well I have got behind, but I am determined to catch up!
this one was taken on time but I have farted about with the post processing and I am still not happy with it! I have not done this before so I learnt a lot. Taken on my 1.4 50mm lens, 30 shots @6 seconds with a few flats and bias shots...
Thanks for all of your time taken to comment - I have re-edited this into B/W and I think this is what I was looking for!

one of our Texas A&M quail being held...ever so gently.....
Not really happy with this as it doesn't "pop" and not sure what to do to it to achieve that....

I have read all of your comments and edited the picture. One thing, this is not a B/W conversion, it was just a very white day!
Hmmm Bliss. The iconic "windows" wallpaper (green hill one) was titled bliss. I have a hill near me that when I cycle past I always think it looks similar. However, the time I had put aside to do this assignment was a cold frosty day and Bliss was just a white haze. So I have done Winter Bliss...
Thanks for your comments, I suppose it could do for bliss, but it really was the pattern of the trees and light I was going for. And if you think that was stretching the brief, wait for my next photo!
Well here we go again, hopefully more successful this year.
my rules:
Not to be so anxious and allow myself to use mobile phone shots.
I will have a joker.
Week 0 - Pattern
Week 1 - Bliss
Week 2 - Fragile re-edit here
Week 3 - Scenic
