One from a recent shoot. I leveled it, but didn't like it as much for some reason. All comments welcome. :)

Well, I WAS going to get another D700....

    Opinions on lens choice

Ok. I'm going to fully jump into weddings this year and my wife will be my second shooter. I'll be shooting with a D700 and 70-200, she'll be shooting a D700 with our 24-70. Ok. I love the 70-200, but I like shooting wide as well, so I'd like a prime to use for these that I can switch...

    Slideshow Menus

This may belong in the printing and presentation section. For those of you who offer slideshows to clients, do you set up the show so that it has a menu? Or do you create the DVD to just kick off automagically? Seems that DVD menus aren't the easiest thing in the world to implement. Had a...

Second camera for weddings: Video or no?

Whoa, guys... Not really wanting to offer complete video services. I leave that to the video pros. :) I do, however, appreciate the responses. As I stated, really just looking at it for slideshows, promotional stuff on my website, etc. Trevorbray's response makes the most sense to me. Thanks...

Second camera for weddings: Video or no?

Well, if someone with more experience in the matter steered me clear of video, I would probably just push for another D700 as a second camera.

Second camera for weddings: Video or no?

Venturing into weddings next year and thought about incorporating some video (for advertising purposes, slideshows, etc). Any word of advice as to whether or not it's even worth it? I currently use a D700 and am looking at the D300s as a second camera.

Lisa and Mark - pre-wedding shoot

Nice set! I'm going to get REALLY ticky and say that some could use just a wee bit of clean up. But again... this is REALLY ticky. The shots are very client-deliverable IMO as they are now. :) 1. I'd clone out those white specs in the black boxes. Ticky? Of course. :P 2. Looks a bit off...

    My niece - after update

If you're using Lightroom,I'd pull the blacks back a little bit and maybe up the saturation on the face a bit.... Or up the temp of the white balance a few bits with the slider. Nice shot as is for me though. Art doesn't have to have perfect colors or tones. :)

    Recent Work

Thanks, Strobes. :) I found the concrete distracting at first and have always in the past (up until recently) always used backgrounds that didn't have any breaks in them. Especially concrete stuff. Lately, I've been going against the grain a bit in some instances. Haha. Edits look nice too...

Ahh gotcha. I think that's why I like it so much though... :) Thanks for comments, Andy.
