One issue with the Drone I have is the fixed aperture. I'm very wary of getting too close to the buildings too!! Thanks for the critique, I'll need to play with the exposure a little in PS.

Great shots! Im looking at going back to the land of fire and ice early next year and I would be seriously happy if Any of my shots turned out this good. You always need a bit of luck on your side when shooting the NL. Was the river shot far from Jokulsarlon?

It was part of the pier up until it burned down in the early 80's. I would expect it would only get fully submerged during storms with high seas.
