Blummin' eck! Not more holiday snaps.

A fantastic set Toni, but that beach cafe shot really stood out for me, as a stunning shot. I think it struck me as something that reminded me of an Edward Hopper painting.

    Class 50 at Oakworth

Two great shots Geoff, the first is my favourite. I like the fact that there is slightly more of the surrounding area shown, giving more context and atmosphere.

    Fiction, wanted, for chaps

Have been a fan of Terry Pratchett since 1986. Extremely clever individual with fantastic imagination and wit. Don't be put off by the "Sci-fi" label, he writes about the human condition with such piercing insight. The first couple of Discworld novels were slow to start with, but he soon got...

    Parton railway station

Really liking these Alf, love the great potential of a "story" to them, almost like stills taken from a movie.

Quite an ominous looking building Steve, love the wide-angle take on it and the B&W really suits it.

Although, probably not as vibrant as the 60's, Silver street was a bit of a magnet for me and my mates, though all around the clock tower area had its pubs and night clubs.

    get together at the cafe

I think this is a great composition Geof. I have been studying the work of the American artist, Edward Hopper, am currently working on a project inspired by his work. This is the kind of shot I am looking at trying to achieve, with the human element being a tiny part of the overall scene. My...

    Prospect Cottage (C) (Dungeness)

Excellent capture George. I love Dungeness, but it is slowly changing from the place I knew 10+ years ago, to something different, not better or worse, just different.
