Sorry, been away on hols and haven't looked in here for quite a while... Didn't even take the camera away with me! I did the cinema refurb shoot before I went away (can't post any of the pics I'm afraid as they're bought and paid for). As I expected, for most of the UWA shots I used the Irix...

Just tried it and in DX mode it does 'zoom in' to fill the whole display in both the EVF and the rear screen... no shaded outer areas or any malarky like that. EDIT.... on reflection that's in DX mode using an FX lens though, not sure if it's different with a DX lens.... And yes, I guess this...

Will do! Im shooting a cinema refurbishment on Tuesday... I gave up doing this photography lark as a business a few months ago but still do occasional jobs for favourite old clients, this is the fourth cinema refurb I will have shot for them. Many of the ultra wide internals I will shoot with...

Let us know when it comes back Amanda... and if they've incorporated any kind of fix to stop it happening again (if you can tell whether or not the material is more durable I guess). I've got a couple of trips coming up in May and June so I'll probably hang onto mine until I get back from those.

I think I first saw it on dpreview HERE ...although I'm sure I've read about it in other places too. I remember asking Nikon UK to rectify a known 'issue' on a camera I had a few years ago (I think it was the 'left focus point issue' on a D800 or D810?)... Despite all the forums being alight...

I sold my D850 and D5 when I gave up my studio and retired from my photography business in December. Bought a Z6 to replace them and have no regrets at all. I think it has been implemented extremely well, the handling is intuitive to a Nikonian so there was no steep learning curve, the 'i' menu...

Just back from a ski week. Very pleased with the Z6 as a holiday camera... with the 24-70 it was convenient, lightweight and compact to carry in a Think Tank Photocross 13 sling bag with room for all the other essentials you have to lug around the mountains. I didn't take any UWA's up the...

Thank you Stephen, the Japanese Garden was only finished last summer so still has a long way to go to mature... it'll be impressive in the years ahead! (y)
