    Gritty 52 Challenge For 2020.

Fantastic image Heather!(y) I do like the angle and composition. I really like how you've processed it...the darker tones convey a great sense of mood, and yet you've maintained some really excellent contrasts, well done indeed!

    Clives 52 in 2020

They're great images Clive! I think I do remember your previous images....last year wasn't it? Both images are superb, the light and shadows are really excellent, very well exposed. Those mossy details on the hull are very nice. I think I prefer the second image; the tighter crop really...

    weekly Pete's Weekly 52 Challenge 2020

Great shot Pete!(y) Amazing, sharp detail on the crusty old leather and a really nice angle with good DoF. I wonder how many 'jumpers for goalposts' that has been kicked through!:giggle:

    weekly Phil S 52 in 2020. Complete!

That's a great shot Phil for the discarded theme Phil!;) Very creative!(y) I remember a shot of mine from last year, where I too tried to factor in motion blur whilst throwing cards....it's next to impossible, so after about 50 or 60 shots, I gave up!!:giggle: Yours is an excellent image, good...

    HelenC's 52 for 2020: Week 52 - Decorate and finished..

Excellent images there Helen! Both are perfect fits for the theme, well spotted. #1 is really super...I like the composition, (though as Joan said, it's cropped a teeny bit tight) and the texture detail on the mossy(?) bits is great. Very nicely captured and a great angle. #2 is terrific - the...

    weekly GarethB's 52 challenge for 2020 - Week 4 - Discarded

Thank you kindly Bill! Is it a bit too abstract?:giggle: Whilst drafting the post, I thought perhaps it might be, and so I decided to pop in the wider image for clarity! Thank you Bebop, for the kind comments!(y) Ahh yes...I do indeed (only just :giggle: ) remember 'Ask the Family' - with...

A bit more of my childhood gone

RIP. I too remember him fondly from 'Sale of the Century' - live from Norwich. For those who enjoy irreverent humour, (see The Young Ones) I urge you to watch 'Mr Jolly Lives Next Door' - a 'Comic Strip Presents' production, starring Rik Mayall, Adrian Edmondson, Peter Cook and Nicholas...

    weekly GarethB's 52 challenge for 2020 - Week 4 - Discarded

Week 4 - Discarded (Click here to go back to the contents page) I had thought of doing something featuring 'discarded technology' but Stuart (@StuartPearson ) stole it got there first!! Specifically, mine too featured discarded VHS tapes. I will therefore call these simply 'Please...

    weekly StuartPearson 52 for 2020 - Week 51 - Decor(ate)

Great set of images Stuart!(y) I still have a loft full of VHS...in fact I had a very similar idea, which I have had to rethink...'cos you stole it!!:LOL: I'm kidding of course, I like the top-down/back-lit technique, and while it hasn't quite yielded a perfect silhouette, it still works...

    weekly NCF15s 52 for 2020 Wk 52 Decorate

It's certainly a compelling image, if what others have suspected is indeed what we're seeing as a poor, unfortunate homeless person in the doorway. It does need a touch of straightening, but otherwise fits the theme well, and the passer-by has some nice motion blur going on. Nice work Nick.(y)
