I did try and get that postion thanks a lot for the pointers, There are a few places that I tried to shoot from but got kindly moved on as they wanted access.

Thank you, I think crop is down to a matter of taste personally.
I may give it a bit more boost on the saturation. I think people are moaning about the grass. It always tends to have a real green feel to it after it rains and the sun hits it.

Like I said before I prefer the panning shots myself but just wanted to share the photo that was selected for print of the year.

A couple of things I would like to point out.
Firstly when doing shots for a hairdresser they tend to want some post work on the hair. Ie tidying up the strays some choice d&b etc. That is one area we seem to miss as editors. It's quite a hard...
Hi just stumbled upon these, they are great. I really like the way you tell a story I. Your shots. Are they all single exposure ? They ones with many stick men in.
This is something we should all try our hands at. It is a basic camera skill that you have perfected really well.

I like the first, however it needs a straighten.
When you straigten something with water always pull the ruler from a point in the photo to the reflection in the water. The water will always be flat and level so you will have a perfect level photo that way.

Funnily enough apart from a quick pull of the sliders in curves I did no saturation work. Just set a white and black point.
Do you really need to have a full height crop? Will seeing some blurred cars and safety fence add to the image?
