Hi. My buddy and I are coming over from Liverpool in the UK to do Route 66 in August. We have planned it to take in the eclipse. We are driving Chicago to Los Angeles, then train up to Seattle then train back to Chicago again. Doing it over three weeks. Really looking forward to it!

I have (finally) come up with a fix I think. I used the tops from two Bic Biros and wedged them through the splits in the side of the hood approx half way down on either side. They are wedge shaped and so force the little locating knobs on the hood to stick out more. Insert the tops from the...
