I wouldnt rule out the flash if you dial in your setting right with the light that is available some cracking shots can be had without losing any of the atmosphere.......attatched some images of the last gig I shot where flash was used throughout the whole set

Added the X-T1 to my 2 x D750 , with it to be initially used as a street walk about camera. However it just excels with everything i put it through. Took it down to London to shoot some building......it did not disappoint!! Only use the 750's now for my gig photography, everything else is shot...
